About Julie

If our perceptual maps are influenced by the places we go, the people we meet and the books we read, then my Professional Perceptual Map is highly influenced by diversity.                                              ...more

All Shall Fade

Tuesday, August 26, 2008 11:12:07 AM

I found myself resting this weekend and rewatching Lord of the Rings.  I love the spiritual messages that are through out the movies.  I love it when the hobbit sings this song.

Home is behind
The world ahead
And there are many paths to tread
Through shadow
To the edge of night
Until the stars are all alight

Mist and shadow
Cloud and shade
All shall fade
All shall fade

Business Plan Objective!

Thursday, August 07, 2008 11:50:08 AM

One of my business objectives is to make a contribution to Heifer International with each closing. A gift will be purchased in honor of YOU, my client, for allowing me the privilege to work with you.

I have been a fan of Heifer International since I first learned of the organization, now it feels fabulous to also be a supporter!

Flock of Hope
Your gift of a Flock of Hope will include chicks, ducklings and goslings that will grow up to lay precious eggs that mean hope and increasing health and prosperity for hungry families from the Philippines to Rwanda. Eggs add vital protein to malnourished families' diets, and droppings provide a wonderful natural fertilizer to improve crop yields. Over time as the flocks grow, families can sell the surplus eggs and produce at market and use the extra income to send children to school, build secure housing and more!

I am grateful to have the opportunities in my life that allow me
to support myself through my work

There's a new option in town!

Thursday, May 15, 2008 12:57:35 PM

After six years of great experience working for Bob Parks Realty, I decided it was time for a change.  For the greater part of those six years I have worked out of my home office, and independently have been able to provide excellent service to my clients.  My business has been very successful for me and for that I am grateful!  I have been marketing myself as Living In The Boro inside Parks, and now I am Living In The Boro, LLC.  It feels great to take my independence to the next level!

Here's what I know after these past six years, I am unique!  And what I have also learned is that the audience in Murfreesboro is very diverse and is looking for options.

Not everyone needs full representation in buying or selling a house.  For those who do not, I provide choices.  For a rundown of listing options, click here.

Give me a call, I'd love to visit about your real estate needs and how I can help.  This is a great town to live in and I'm proud to be part of it!

the guest house

Thursday, July 26, 2007 6:13:59 PM
this being human is a guest house.
every morning, a new arrival.

a joy, a depression, a meanness,
some momentary awareness comes
as an unexpected visitor.

welcome and entertain them all!
even if they're a crowd of sorrows,
who violently sweep your house
empty of its furniture,
still, treat each guest honorably.
he may be clearing you out
for some new delight.

the dark thought, the shame, the malice,
meet them at the door laughing,
and invite them in.

be grateful for whoever comes,
because each has been sent
as a guide from beyond.
